We are not out of the woods yet and have some really big hurdles to conquer to save RUFFFHouse and the nearly 300 abandoned animals who live here, through no fault of their own.  Taxes are now due, the attorneys want more, and the list goes on and on…..but for now, every Furry Friend is happy and healthy and I pray that we can continue to give them all they need until a new forever home is found or they live out their natural lives in peace and comfort.  Keep the prayers, cards and letters (and $$) coming – their little lives depend on it!

From the bottom of my heart, again, I thank and bless each and every one of you!

While I would hope to stay for only a little while, I could  at least sleep with ease, and not run endlessly with worry of finding  something ,if anything to eat. And I would know for a fact that , I’m certain to meet new  friends, where we all shall have plenty to eat & drink , as the room service is exquisite and the lads and lassies keep the quarters clean as a’whistle ! And no tippin’ is required.

If you ever become a homeless dog , all alone with nobody to watch 
over you…you’ll want to get down on your hind legs also , and pray for directions to find the place that all abandoned canines …now refer to as…” The HEELTON “.

Since we didn’t however, we are in dire need to raise $2,000 in the next week to keep our attorney from dropping our case (and keeping the $1,500 we already paid him). When these cases are done it should be the end of legal for us and all of the animals at RUFFF! We just need to get through this one (and we’re sure we’re going to WIN when we keep the case going) and get back to doing what we all all here working for!

It’s better to be safe than sorry!  I will not use any chicken jerky treats for my dogs – it’s up to you if you want to take that chance.

HOW TO WASH A CAT:
1.Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.
2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.
3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids. You may need to stand on the lid.
4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat…….is actually enjoying this.
5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a “power-wash” and rinse.” Don’t worry, kitty won’t go “down the tube,” cause she won’t fit.
6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door.
7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.
8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and run outside where she will dry herself off.
9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.

too faithful to leave, too frightened to run.
He’s been here for days now with nothing

He can’t understand why you left him
that day. He thought that you were stopping
to play. He’s sure you’ll come back and
that’s why he stays.
How long will he suffer? How many more
days? His legs have grown weak; his throat’s
parched and dry. He’s sick now from
hunger and falls with a sigh.
