You came to the rescue of the ‘Furry Friends’ and there are many waggin’ tails and smiling faces because of your generosity! You are appreciated more than you know!  Saturday, April 3rd, 2010, R.U.F.F.F. held an open house for members of the community to visit the animals and say ‘Hello”! Throughout the day folks showed up to have a look around and offer support and thanks. Approximately 50 attendees came and petted and gave treats to the 200+ dogs and 90 cats [...] R.U.F.F.F. is fighting to save our 40+ acre Sanctuary, RUFFFHouse.located in Golden Valley, AZ. We have been working to comply with Environmental Health Dept.s arbitrary rules for kennels, which we clearly are not. This department wants to force dogs and cats to live on hard cement 24/7, day in day out for the rest of [...] R.U.F.F.F. celebrates 10 years and 10,000 + rescued animals this month (Jan 2010)! It’s been a long, hard, expensive but wondrous journey to our 10th anniversary this month,filled with much joy and a bit of sorrow. Each and every dog, cat and pottbelly pig at our 40+acre Sanctuary, RUFFFHouse, has enriched our lives [...] Opened in 2003, R.U.F.F.F. House, is a permanent “no-kill” companion animal sanctuary. Housed on 40 acres in Golden Valley, Arizona just minutes from Laughlin, Nevada, at R.U.F.F.F.House every animal will have a place to live and play until permanent, loving homes can be found.
